Y’all, I could not be happier this morning!  Can you just look at these Texas waffles?  Pure heaven!  I cannot tell you how excited I was that these turned out the way I had hoped!  Yayayay!  Rejoice with me!  You can take the girl out of Texas, but not the Texas out of the girl y’all!

Ingredients

♦ 1 c whole wheat flour

♦ 2 tsp baking powder

♦ 1/8 tsp salt

♦ ¼ c melted coconut oil (can use applesauce 1:1 for low fat)

♦ ½ tsp vanilla extract

♦ 7/8 c unsweetened almond milk

♦ 1 egg white

♦ ¼ tsp stevia

Begin by combing the flour, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl.

texas wheat waffles | Journey for JessiGrease/pre-treat your waffle iron according to specific instructions.  Texas waffle iron highly recommended, but I guess it can be optional ;)
