I LOVE tea. I have it at least 1-2 times a day. There are so many kinds and amazing flavors to try. When I discovered Buddha Teas, my tea-loving heart rejoiced! Because there are so many types and brands of teas available, I like to make my tea time special. Buddha Tea does just that for me!
I cannot tell you how nice of a Sunday I had–okay well maybe I can. It was a beautiful day! Sunny skies, melting snow, warm temperatures…sigh. It is glorious. For breakfast, I had half a grapefruit sprinkled with stevia and cantaloupe with ¼ cup cashews (not pictured). I always pair my fruit with a nut or fat of some sort to prevent drastic blood sugar spikes.
Happy October! Fall is upon us. The leaves are changing, the air is changing…and so is my diet. What? That is right. I am challenging myself this month–all 31 days to go vegan! What is veganism? I hope everyone had a GREAT Fourth of July! I know I had an amazing and patriotic day! I absolutely adore holidays, and I get very wrapped up into the festivities. Everything I did yesterday had an element of red, white, and blue to it, like my Strawberry, Banana, and Blueberry Fruit Bowl! Yummy!
Hello all! It is day two of my Circuit Series! (If you missed day one, find it here!) I completed the second rotation this morning in under nine minutes and burnt about 40 calories (keep in mind that every body is different and this is just an estimate based off of how I performed*).
Despite the fact that summer usually means sleeping in late for most college students, I cannot bear the notion. Why waste the most beautiful part of the day? The promise of a fresh start every morning with the whole day ahead of you. I think my body knows this and that is why I cannot sleep in past 9 am–and that is still pretty late for me. I average around 7:30 am unless I set an alarm to go for a run. In Houston, the day heats up pretty quickly, and if I have not hit the pavement before the sun makes its appearance, I am in trouble.
